What’s Holding You Back?
“But now, this is what the LORD says-- he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1 Fear holds us back from doing so many things. In healthcare I see it lead people to do things they don’t want to do, stop people from doing the things they need to heal, and inhibit them from trying something new. God can’t work through us if we are blocked with fear. We have a member at our office who is fearful of having a heart attack, another is fearful of a family history of breast cancer, and someone who is afraid of being adjusted. All of these fears exist in our lives, because we allow them. Fear exists, but it does not have to lead us. When God leads us we can operate outside of fear. We can know that we do not have to make our healthcare decisions based upon anyone’s advise or even their fear. Yes, other people will give you advise based on their fear. It is very well meaning advice, but it is still in fear. Wouldn’t you rather take the information that others give you, and take it to God asking Him what He wants you to do? I tell members to not take our advice unless God confirms it to them. Every health professional has a lens of life that they look through. Our advice comes from our training, our experiences, and our own personal beliefs. That is nothing compared to your Heavenly Father, who knows exactly what you need. He has the absolute best for you! He may have you take a medication, do surgery, go to a chiropractor, try acupuncture, or whatever He leads you to do. There is no fear in His leading, only Peace. You may feel fear if He tells you to do something new, but as soon as you take the step you will find sweet Peace. Amen! Woo Hoo!! Love you💕
