Ep. 10- So, what do I eat? Part 1
We often get the question, "So what do we eat if we are avoiding inflammatory foods?" In this show we go over the abundance of foods that God has for us to eat. Eating healthy does not mean you have to go without! Woo Hoo!!
What do I eat?
No list: Corn, Soy, Dairy, Gluten, Eggs.
Potato Soup:
One 3 pound bag of organic potatoes cubed
4-5 cloves of garlic chopped
1/2 of red onion diced
7-8 organic carrots sliced
3-4 stalks of organic celery
Saute garlic, onion, in water for a few minutes. Then add water, potatoes, carrots, and celery. Add 6-8 cups of coconut milk if desired.
Mushroom Meat:
Taco seasoning
shitake mushrooms
onions
No Points Soup:
Mushrooms
Purple and Green Cabbage
Kale
Onions
Garlic
Cauliflower
Bell Peppers
Celery
Carrots
Broccoli
Saute onion, garlic, celery together in water, and then add all remaining vegetables except kale. Cook until vegetables are tender, but not mushy. Add Kale after taking it off the stove. You can freeze this in individual ziploc bags for meals throughout the month.
Laurie's Dressing:
1 cup of soaked cashews, 1 avocado, 3 tbsp of lime juice, handful of cilantro, 1 garlic clove and salt to taste. Blend on high until creamy. Warning this makes almost 2 pints of sauce.
