Pain Is Where The Symptom Is, Not Where The Problem Is!
A member called me this morning in crisis. She said that her hip or SI were killing her, and that the pain was so sharp that she could barely move. I asked her, “What happened to cause this?” She said, “I have no idea?” Then I asked her to tell me more about it. It travels up her back on the right side up into her neck. Bingo! I know this member, and I am familiar with her history. I told her that I had home school, and the teacher was coming. I would not be able to see her until this afternoon. However, Dr. Michael was going into the office, and could see her this morning! So, I prepped him on the situation, and I handed him a jar of celery juice to give her. My initial thought was that this was her liver referring pain, and that her lymph was congested on the right as a result. This was being drawn all the way up the right side to her neck. It is very common for us to think that the pain is where the problem is, but I rarely find that to be the case. More often the body is responding through its many connections to produce pain in the weakest area. I just sent her a text, and she said that she is already feeling better! Woo Hoo!! Love you💕
